Objectives and Content
Once lean management principles and tools have been understood, they need to be put into practice. Value stream mapping and design is the most widely used tool to achieve this. While value stream mapping allows the analysis of current processes, value stream design is a superb method to design lean target processes. In this workshop, the lecturer will give an introduction on how to carry out both value stream mapping and value stream design in the real world. The participants will practice based on two case studies from the automotive industry. This workshop is a corresponding follow-up on the concepts and principles learnt during the lean management workshop of the previous day.
Target Group
Industrial engineers, process planners, logistics planners, industrial supervisors and executives
