Introduction

We are delighted to announce the Sino-German HR Forum 2020 in Northeast China on September 24 at CONRAD Shenyang.

This forum aims to provide our member companies with up-to-date information on the latest HR trends and challenges, as well as an in-depth review of the wage and salary developments of their employees in the northeast region. The "Labor Market & Salary Report 2020/2021" represents our benchmark publication for 2020 and examines the current developments in China's job market, as well as provides a forecast for 2021.

The first installment of the Sino-German HR Forum in Northeast China will create a new platform for networking and exchange between both HR and non-HR executives and professionals in German and Chinese business communities. Participants will have the opportunity to consult with major German companies in our region to enhance their knowledge about current challenges and new trends in the HR field, as well as getting introduced to the relevant regional labor market developments.

The Labor Market & Salary Report 2020/2021 presentation will focus on the following aspects:

  • The impact of COVID-19 on wage developments and HR activities of German companies in China
  • General labor market environment and expected development in China
  • Specific wage developments in the northeast region (focus on Shenyang, Dalian, Changchun)
  • HR challenges
