Event Details

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present in a moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. But often in our challenging and busy daily lives, we're hyper connected and distracted 24/7 from most things that we truly value and therefore it's all too easy to lose ourselves in "autopilot mode", in which we might fail to hear what our bodies are telling us or we might become vulnerable to anxiety, stress, depression and reactivity.

During this workshop, you will learn more about the holistic approach of living mindful and how different methods of mindfulness practice, which can be incorporated throughout your everyday life, can help you to reduce stress, brings greater focus and effectiveness, improve cognitive function and boost your well-being:

  • Perception of Emotions: How can we sensitize our awareness of own thoughts, feelings and emotions and how can we learn to perceive and accept them in a non-judgemental way
  • The Mindful Body: How can we get more connected to our body and it's bodily sensations
  • Formal practice of Mindfulness: How to apply meditation techniques in our daily lives to relax and get focused
  • Mindful Eating: How to turn daily tasks like eating into mindful moments
